The Night

The August public Fuega Dance, under the Sturgeon Moon. A milonga alternative — tango and related dancing to music outside the traditional tango canon. Jazz, soul, rock, edgy contemporary, and alt-tango sets built with David Liu and Sharon Alworth. The DJ picks for danceability, not category.

Come with a partner or come alone. Watch first. Ask someone to dance. The room is built for low-pressure connection — Downside Up is a non-alcoholic night café, which keeps the energy steady.

Hosted by Brady Hugins with Aniessa and Gail, who own and operate Downside Up.
